10 minute pretend toys

Posted on 5:00 pm

Lately I have been having an issue with my daughter taking the shampoo out of the bathrooms. She uses it on her dolls and play dishes in her bed room but the soap ends up everywhere. After the secone time I knew she needed some kind of pretend shampoo.

I always put our shampoo and conditioner into smallers squeeze bottles so its easier for the kiddos to use. I buy these bottles in bulk cause I use them for many things.

What you’ll need: bottles, hot glue, and fillers.
I used sugar, beads, rhinestones,  and ribbons. I was gonna put elmers glue in one but decided to skip it. You could use rice and could even color it or beans.

Fill the bottles. I used a funnel for the smaller objects.

Once they are filled put hot glue into the tip of the cap. Then put a layer of hot glue around the inside tred of the cap. Then quickly screw it onto the bottle.

Allow to dry, then make sure it won’t leak.

Perfect! Now for a little something extra, I made labels for the bottles. I just used paper, markers, and tape.

My little girl loved them and immediatly went to pretend away :)
